Watch for special exhibits you like

A friend took me here and I was super surprised how great it was and I did not even know it existed. We came during a special fashion exhibit that was wonderful. I will keep an eye out for this place. Nicely done.

Small Museum in Downtown Fort Lauderdale

I wanted to check out the Chuck Close exhibition of photographs – it was fine though not exceptional. But the Italian fashion from the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s exhibition was excellent. A big surprise. There are also two other small exhibits which are okay. This museum is rather small, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Sine-wave from Fort Lauderdale, Florida says:

Bellissima: Italy and High Fashion 1945-1968

I have lived in Florida since June 2002 and have been impressed on many occasions with the amazing special exhibits at this museum. Of course, my all-time favorite was the Princess Diana exhibit which included her magnificent wedding dress. The current exhibit, Italian fashions from 1945 to 1968, is an absolute “must.”
